About six months ago, I picked up the new Shick Intuition razor from the grocery store. I liked the fact that it had the little soap ring around the blade, plus it came with a free shower radio.
Well, to say the least, the razor sucked...with the soap surrounding the blade, it was impossible to get anywhere close to a good shave without pressing too hard, which then led to the removal of several skin layers, a few ruptured veins and massive armpit lacerations...
Anyways, after I mopped up the blood from the razor trauma, I took out the shower radio and suctioned it to the shower wall. I turned it on, and became very excited.
Just for the record, shower tunes are severely underrated. Even the lamest tune is suddenly jamworthy when heard while you're sudsing your ass...in fact, I was singing and dancing to Bob Seger's "Turn the Page" earlier while shaving my legs...dangerous but fun...
The only caveat with the shower radio is that it runs on batteries, so when the music stops, that's it. I've already had to remove the batteries from my vibrator and TV remote to keep it running mid-shower...
I've been getting up to change channels for about a month now, and I haven't had a decent orgasm for God knows how long...

Turkey
Holidays are overrated. So is turkey.
Why has our culture succumbed so willingly to marketing ploys that persuade us to see holidays not as a time to share with special people, but as a time to mad dash to the shopping meccas to purchase frivolous items that the receiver will likely toss under the bed in two weeks, never to be seen again? A time to wolf down copious amounts of food? Do people even think about the true meaning of the holidays anymore? It just seems that they have become merely excuses to shop...
Not that I mind. I like presents. And candy.

Little Sherri
Apparently "Little Sherri" is ruining my relationships.
When I was young, I was often alienated by peers once their other friends would reject me. My therapist thinks that this "Little Sherri" kicks in even years later...I tend to pout and get upset when I meet friends of someone I am close to. I am afraid they will end up alienating me like I was alienated years before.
Grrr...why couldn't I have had this figured out before? I've hurt people in the past that I didn't want to hurt...then again...
My therapist also told me that relationships are a two-way street. That is, in aan ideal relationship, 50 percent is one person, and 50 percent is the other. They combine to form an integrated whole...so when one person does or says something that contributes negatively to the relationship, the other retaliates, and a power struggle results...the relationship becomes lopsided, and the person with the most part of the whole is the one at the top of the power struggle.
Many young people have problems with their inner child (so I'm not the only weirdo out there!) They never healed their inner child, so it presents itself in situations that bothered them as children. This is likely why so many young people have trouble in relationships...they are not in an adult mind when it comes to certain aspects of the relationship. They also have unrealistic views of what a relationship should be, so when the going gets tough, they get going. This is the opposite of adult love, where there is honesty between the two and problems are worked out rationally, with no judgment or belittlement.
